Gapminder.org: Hans Rosling explains the world

Gapminder is a software for visualizing data. It accesses databases of the UN and national institutions and displays information about social, economic and environmental development. The visual design could be better, but it is a great example of dynamic data visualization. And the presentations of Hans Rosling at TED are amazing.

Thank you for blogging about us, and in such a brand new blog.

There are of course more videos and tools available on the web-site. We are constantly working on improving the visual design and are now adding more user-friendly features to gapminder.org/world which is the on-line live graph were you can do your own comparions from the available data.

If you have any suggestions on how the visual design could be improved , please don’t hesitate to drop us a line.

    Staffan, Gapminder
